West Lake is an upscale golf community located between Steven's Creek Road and Fury's Ferry Road, with an entrance on each. West Lake is a gated neighborhood, so through traffic is prohibited. Unfortunately this means it can be difficult to see homes for sale in West Lake. You do not have to be a member of the club to live there. Of course, homeowners do get a significant discount on membership dues.

West Lake has one of the most beautiful country clubs around. Founded in 1969, member-owned West Lake Country Club is located within the gated community of West Lake, a 1000 home neighborhood in Columbia County, the second-fastest growing county in Georgia. Almost half of West Lake’s residents are members of the Club, comprising half of our 900+ Club members.

Our course was rated #1 private course in the Augusta area by Augusta Magazine from 2005 – 2006 & 2008, #2 in 2007. We have hosted numerous state amateur tournaments over the years.

Our thirteen-court tennis complex hosts a variety of monthly social events, major tournaments and exhibitions every year, in addition to fielding many competitive USTA & CSRA League Teams. Our Swim Team is competitive in CSRA league play.
